I’m Hannah!
I am a devoted mother, sister, daughter.
I proudly serve as a traditional birth doula.
Every life experience has guided me to this moment — to be the doula by your side.
There I was with my grandmother…
…leaning over my shoulder giving me a play-by-play of the birth we were about to witness. The sun was warm and the barn smelled like dry hay. Flies everywhere, barn cats taking their naps. The first birth I remember attending was a very pregnant cow.
As mama cow pushed, I saw the calf’s feet emerge and my grandmother said, “oh, it’s breeched!”. The farmer and my older sister assisted the calf out. My grandmother told me that next would be the placenta. Which I was so confused about, but I learned that day even the wisest woman I knew was shocked by the unknown in birth. It was then we realized there was another calf coming, a twin breech birth!
From the first free birth I witnessed in that barn, I realized the power and divine connection that takes place within — from the sounds, the innate energy, to the movement that was all cultivated right there on a mid-summer sticky, hot day was the most powerful and invigorating experience.
Lucky for me, I lived on a dairy farm for a period of my childhood where I saw life and death right before my eyes.
And then my own birth planted a fire inside of me. I learned a lot about what women truly need during birth and this experience opened my deep desire to be that support for other mothers.
my entire life I have been immersing myself in ways to support myself and my health. I found steaming in 2019 and knew immediately — I have to share this with every woman I know.
What sparked my interest in steaming? My journey with steaming began during my postpartum recovery. Intrigued, I delved into learning more. Having undergone a C-section, steaming became a transformative and healthful modality, offering a soothing way to support both my uterus and incision.
Since then, I've enrolled in Steamy Chicks education courses and am progressing toward becoming a Hydro-steam Therapist (Level 1) to better assist fellow mothers. My commitment extends to continuous education and perpetual growth.
I support women by...
nurturing female well-being and inspiring them to connect with their divine feminine energy, fostering a sense of confidence, tranquility, and empowerment.
